- Age and licence
- Minimum age 21 when the vehicle is handed over, with a driving licence held and valid for at least 1 year. UK and EU licences are accepted as they are — no International Driving Permit needed. For a licence issued outside the EU and the UK, bring your national licence together with an International Driving Permit.
- Young driver surcharge
- A surcharge applies per rental to drivers aged 21 to 24 inclusive. The exact amount is shown in the summary before payment.
- Additional driver
- Each additional driver named on the contract incurs a surcharge per rental day, shown in the summary before payment.
- Security deposit
- A card pre-authorisation is taken when the vehicle is handed over, equal to the excess of the protection plan you choose (Full cover, Intermediate or Basic). It is released within 7 business days of the vehicle's return.
- Mileage
- An allowance of 200 km per started rental day, pooled across the whole rental. Beyond that, extra kilometres are charged at the rate stated at booking.
- Delivery
- Included at Nice Côte d'Azur airport (T1 and T2), at the Nice-Ville, Nice-Riquier and Nice-Saint-Augustin train stations, and at any address within the city of Nice (06000, 06100, 06200, 06300). Beyond that, a surcharge based on road distance is shown before payment.
- Cancellation
- Free until 7 days before the vehicle is handed over. The Cancellation Protection option, taken out when you book, lets you cancel until 6 hours before.
- Insurance
- Third-party liability and comprehensive cover included, with an excess that depends on the protection plan you choose. 24/7 breakdown assistance is included in the rate.
