Yes, returning to the station is free. Two options: 1) You park your car at Parking Gare SNCF Thiers (opposite the station), take a photo of the vehicle's condition via our app, and deposit the keys in the secure box (location communicated by SMS). 2) Call us 30 min beforehand, our team will collect the vehicle directly while you catch your train.
Required documents: 1) Valid driving licence (French or international) held for more than 1 year, 2) Valid ID card or passport, 3) Credit card for the deposit. You can send your documents online when booking to save time at key handover.
Yes: we deliver and collect vehicles at any hour, 7 days a week. Simply indicate your arrival time when booking (even night trains or very early arrivals). Your car will be delivered at the agreed time, whatever time your TGV or TER arrives.
A reasonable deposit is pre-authorised on your credit card (amount varies depending on the vehicle). It is automatically released within 7 days after return without incident. Unlike traditional agencies that block high amounts for several weeks, our deposit is reduced and quickly released.
All our vehicles are delivered with a full tank. You must return the car with a full tank as well. If the tank is not full upon return, we charge a €30 handling fee plus the missing fuel at the price of the nearest petrol station. Age and licence
Minimum age 21 when the vehicle is handed over, with a driving licence held and valid for at least 1 year. UK and EU licences are accepted as they are — no International Driving Permit needed. For a licence issued outside the EU and the UK, bring your national licence together with an International Driving Permit.
Young driver surcharge
A surcharge applies per rental to drivers aged 21 to 24 inclusive. The exact amount is shown in the summary before payment.
Additional driver
Each additional driver named on the contract incurs a surcharge per rental day, shown in the summary before payment.
Security deposit
A card pre-authorisation is taken when the vehicle is handed over, equal to the excess of the protection plan you choose (Full cover, Intermediate or Basic). It is released within 7 business days of the vehicle's return.
Mileage
An allowance of 200 km per started rental day, pooled across the whole rental. Beyond that, extra kilometres are charged at the rate stated at booking.
Delivery
Included at Nice Côte d'Azur airport (T1 and T2), at the Nice-Ville, Nice-Riquier and Nice-Saint-Augustin train stations, and at any address within the city of Nice (06000, 06100, 06200, 06300). Beyond that, a surcharge based on road distance is shown before payment.
Cancellation
Free until 7 days before the vehicle is handed over. The Cancellation Protection option, taken out when you book, lets you cancel until 6 hours before.
Insurance
Third-party liability and comprehensive cover included, with an excess that depends on the protection plan you choose. 24/7 breakdown assistance is included in the rate.
